Grinner Reference

Grinner Costume Reference

Some Grinner costume reference courtesy of Boris Karloff and some other black and white dudes:

Grinner Concept

Here is a Grinner in the Profondo Rosso style of painting with a kind of skinny suit.  I'll have a look for wardrobe references and if anyone has any suggestions for something different get 'em posted!

'Profondo Rosso'

I was watching the mad mad film which is 'Profondo Rosso' last night and thought this scene was good inspiration for the use of frames which hold mirrors and paintings and how the two can be confused.

The story is that the guy witnessed a murder and thought he saw was something of importance in a painting which later disappeared.  It turns out that what he saw was a mirror with the reflection of the murderer stood against a painting.  Sorry I should have called 'spoiler alert' by now - hah.

Also I quite like the faces as Grinner inspiration - although they ain't doing much grinning.

Pitch Materials in the past

I thought I shared how we pitched our web series to our investors at the time. Some of the materials are missing in the picture unfortunately - it's been over a year, but it included the following:

- brochure (incl. director's statement, logline, synopsis, crew/[proposed]cast, teaser poster);
- personal letter (good strong paper, inked signatures);
- print-out of the script;
- business cards (director/writer + producer);
- USB stick with a) script, b) teaser trailers, c) teaser poster + press statement;
- black bubble-wrap envelope;
- company stickers;
- halloween sweets;

what I could still find at home a year later...

It would be great to know what you have used in the past! It worked very well for us at the time and hope it will in the future once we've finished the post-production and will revive this!
