I thought I shared how we pitched our web series to our investors at the time. Some of the materials are missing in the picture unfortunately - it's been over a year, but it included the following:
- brochure (incl. director's statement, logline, synopsis, crew/[proposed]cast, teaser poster);
- personal letter (good strong paper, inked signatures);
- print-out of the script;
- business cards (director/writer + producer);
- USB stick with a) script, b) teaser trailers, c) teaser poster + press statement;
- black bubble-wrap envelope;
- company stickers;
- halloween sweets;
what I could still find at home a year later...
It would be great to know what you have used in the past! It worked very well for us at the time and hope it will in the future once we've finished the post-production and will revive this!
Nice one Bianca. This is really usefull. Personally I've never put together this kind of pitch package so it's really valuable to hear what other people have done in the past.

ReplyDeleteThat all looks great. Was there anything in particular that you thought people responded to in the pack? We have only ever really put together electronic 'greenlight packs' that had in them: directors statement, producers statement, cast wishlist, concept art and images, crew HoD details, and sent that along with the script and any film references or shorts we had done. We should definitely aim for something like you have above, I like the extra touches!
